Heavy-duty chemicals for fleet and truck washing

Golden West Corporation supplies fleet yards, trucking companies, bus operators, municipalities, and truck washes across Southern California. Fleet washing is a different problem from passenger car washing: heavier soils, larger surfaces, aluminum and painted steel that react differently to alkaline chemistry, and crews under time pressure. We manufacture chemistry built for that work in Gardena, California.

What fleet operations need

  • Heavy-duty alkaline detergents — for road film, diesel soot, and exhaust staining across trailers and box trucks
  • Degreasers — for engine bays, undercarriage, wheels, and shop floors
  • Aluminum brighteners and acidic cleaners — used correctly, these restore tanks and wheels without etching
  • Truck brushes and long-handle tools — flow-through designs that let a crew cover a trailer quickly without scratching
  • Bulk packaging — fifty five gallon drums and totes, priced for fleet volume

Cost per vehicle, not cost per gallon

Fleet managers are usually quoted on price per gallon, which is the wrong measure. What matters is how many trucks a gallon actually cleans and how much crew time each unit takes. A concentrate that dilutes further and releases soil faster costs less per vehicle even when the drum price is higher. We will work the math with you honestly, and we will tell you when a lighter product is enough.

Safety and surface protection

Strong chemistry demands correct handling and correct dilution. Aggressive acids on polished aluminum, or alkaline product left to dry on painted surfaces, cause damage that costs more than the chemical saved. Because Oscar, our chemical engineer, formulates our line personally, we can specify exactly what to run, at what concentration, and on which surfaces.
